Joyschool

Lena has been doing Joy School this year. Anyone who knows Lena will tell you that she is a shy little girl. Joy School has really helped her with her social skills and with getting over her shyness. When I bring her to Joy School  she gets all giddy and excited to see her little girl friends (It’s an all girl Joy School of 5 girls, and not necessarily by choice. It just kind of happened that way) I’m telling you when those girls get together they chit chat like I’ve never heard girls talk. They talk like little valley girls. When joyschool was at my house the girls came in and immediately checked out each others outfits. It was super cool to have any kind of flowers anywhere on your outfit and it was really cute to see how they all let each other “fit in” by complementing each other on what they were wearing. “I really like your pink shirt” or “I have boots just like that at my home”  were some of the conversation starters. I’m glad these girls have beome such good friends and that Joy School has been so fun for Lena and I.
