this past week has been another hard one. If you haven’t heard about the four police officers who were shot last Sunday please take a moment to read the story here you can read updates on the case here. I just keep hoping and praying for no more shootings and for police officers to be safe. I am in the process of writing a letter to the governor. I will add any ones name to the letter who would like to support the cause. I am also hoping to visit the memorial and take pictures again. This is how I am feeling again. I just want it all to stop. I don’t want to have to wonder if my husband will come home to me.
A sad week

December 3, 2009 - 7:45 pm - I feel for you Kali, it is scary being married to public servants. I have family and friends who are police officers and I would love to be added to the letter.
December 4, 2009 - 1:24 am - My mother-in-law called today...she visited Brooke's grave at Mtn. View Funeral home...it just happened to be during the service for the Lakewood officers at the same time. She said it was a very emotional experience seeing so many police cars with lights flashing in honor of the fallen officers. I am sorry you have to worry so much about your hubby...I wish we didn't have to worry for our friends and loved ones.
