I feel like I always start my posts with an excuse to why it’s been so long since I’ve posted. So my excuse this time is that I have spent the past few weeks becoming a “color” expert. I have taken some serious steps in my business and spent some serious money to insure that I am color correcting my images in the most professional way possible. I bought a new computer and one of these little nifty things I also splurged and upgraded to Adobe Photoshop CS4. I hope to be able to catch up with all the rest of my photo editing and other parts of my business that I have been slacking on soon. Although I have had a bit of a delay it is all worth it to produce the highest possible quality photographs. Aside from the delay I am so excited to post Joey and Johanna’s wedding pictures. This wedding was a BLAST. It was a cold day and I was so proud of the whole family and especially the bride and groom for enduring the cold to get portraits. The wedding was at Salty’s in Alki beach and I can’t say enough about how much I loved this venue. 321 foto booth also did a wonderful job at the wedding and I even popped into the photo booth with an “x bride” of mine and got my picture taken. Oh and before I forget a special thanks to my second shooter Stephanie, who did a great job.

Johanna was a gorgeous bride

they don't even look cold and it was freezing

they were married in the Seattle LDS temple

they had umbrellas and it was sprinkling outside so it was a good thing

this is my favorite bridal party picture

Johanna and her girls- i love this one

has to be one of my favorite shots of the day

I had so much fun with the bridesmaid shots- can't you tell

Johanna and her sister

this is the last one I'll post of the bridesmaids-i promise

Later that night I headed over to the reception -here are some details

Salty's at alki-if you haven't been, the food and atmosphere is great and I highly recommend it

don't worry she got him back

there was so much fun and dancing

You can see my flash behind them but i just love the back light look

this is the view from out side the restaurant- I had to stand on a bench and hold my camera over the water to take it

Joey was quite the dancer

At the end of the night I caught Joeys parents on the dance floor. It was so cute
