Angie and Chris were married August 1st! I can’t believe it is already August. Only three more weddings to go. I want to apologize for the delay in my work flow. I am not a big personal blogger and don’t write too much about my personal life but I just want to say that we have had a family crisis and it has put a lot on hold. I am trying to play catch up so please be patient with me. One thing that is hard about being a wedding photographer is that unlike a normal 9-5 job you can’t just take a day off and say, “sorry I am not feeling well I am not going to photograph the most important day of your life”. Once you have made the commitment you have to follow through. There have only been two weddings this season where I really wished I could have taken the day off, one was when I woke up sick with mastitis. This was only 4 weeks after having had Dane. The second wedding was the one I just did. But despite wishing I could have taken the day off, it ended up being a wonderful day. and it actually helped take my mind off all that was going on.
Angie and Chris were wonderful. I have to also note that Angie and her family did a wonderful job at planning the wedding. I loved the fact that they emailed an outline of the day to me and probably many others and I would highly recommend all brides to do this. Angie was so calm and didn’t seem to be nervous at all. The ceremony was beautiful and I even got a little teary eyed during it. There were so many great moments to capture and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites.
